In their speeches, local authorities and Naturefriends representatives highlighted the crucial role trees play in combating climate change, improving living conditions, and preserving biodiversity. They also called on young people to become ambassadors for environmental protection in their communities.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A symbolic first tree was planted by the Mayor of&nbsp;Niasso, alongside the Director of the CAP and a representative of Naturefriends Mali. Pupils, teachers, and guests then joined forces to plant and water the saplings, transforming the school grounds into a greener and more welcoming space.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In total,&nbsp;<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">115 fruit trees<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&nbsp;were planted, including&nbsp;<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">75 orange trees<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&nbsp;and&nbsp;<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">40 mango trees<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. These trees will not only enhance the school environment but also provide long-term environmental and educational benefits for future generations.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Beyond the planting activity, the event served as a valuable learning opportunity. More than 600 pupils&nbsp;participated&nbsp;in awareness-raising sessions on climate change, environmental stewardship, and the importance of preserving natural resources. Special attention was given to promoting the participation of girls, many of whom&nbsp;demonstrated&nbsp;strong enthusiasm and leadership in environmental activities.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Throughout the day, pupils shared messages and slogans on banners expressing hope for the future and emphasising the importance of trees in sustaining life and protecting the planet. Their creativity and commitment reflected a growing awareness of environmental challenges and solutions.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The event concluded with a strong message of unity and responsibility.
